As an enormous fan of horror, I have a fascination with all things Amityville and this novel was a seamless fit to feed my obsession. It was eerie minus being exaggeratedly done. I appreciated how spine-chilling this was and how the writer ended it.

As a huge fan of Michael Grant and his works, I was ecstatic to be able to get my hands on his latest work in his thrilling BZRK series, BZRK: Apocalypse. If you are anything like me then Apocalypse will positively blow your mind. The characters are well-developed, the sceneries are always so extremely vivid that readers feel like they are right there along with the characters, and his plot lines are tremendously creative.

Rose has a knack for spinning tales of wonder and allure that enthrals readers into an enchanting web that they do not want to get out of—The Witch of Painted Sorrows is no different, in fact, it may just be her most gripping novel yet! Rose intertwines a story that sends readers to a place where desire and lust were perceived to be incongruous, yet, oh so challenging to go on without them.

I am a giant fan of post-apocalyptic and dystopian situations with prowling zombies and civilisation disintegrating with a limited group of survivors attempting to flee rampage and chaos. I truly enjoyed Vanessa Garden’s Carrier because of this. The Australian setting that the book was placed in was something I loved and the plot was fresh and diverse from many others in the same sort of genre. As it is a short book, it was moderately fast-paced and a quick read but honestly did not feel rushed at any point while reading it.

Stant Litore’s No Lasting Burial is a spectacular novel on several levels. The tale rings true with humanity. The horror and zombie features, as well as the miraculous, truly forces readers to contemplate what it is to be human, to grieve and love as a human being.
